1. Random character: post 137 icon 19, I don't know who this is, but I'm sure you do  (Katherine Pierce, so for the new icon, I took a different screencap of hers, and also did an unusual cropping). 
2. Random retro_icontest challenge: 9 theiconquest - quest 12 "path" - https://theiconquest.livejournal.com/9087.html choose a class and use the inspirations shown on that first page ( I followed the hero path I believe to make it as bright as possible)
3. Random praise: I love the muted coloring, especially how you turned [character1]'s trademark bright colors into pastel. The way the text separates [character1] from [character2] as well as curls around [character1] is amazing. (I tried following the praise by using the muted coloring and text to curl around the characters). 
4. Random screencap:  (this was so much fun!)
5. Random song: Nirvana - Come As You Are ( youtube | lyrics ) ( I used the lyrics as text work)
6. Random tutorial: by neke  (I followed using pastel-like coloring and text as well)
7. Random movie poster: http://www.impawards.com/2009/how_i_got_lost.html ( I used the composition of the poster to inspire me)
8. Random quote: “When we are most alone is when we embrace another's loneliness.” - Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper ( I added the quote in the icon)
9. Random textures: azuremonkey lookslikerain nighty-stock@dA ( like before, I decided to combine all the textures to create this icon)
10. Random font: https://www.dafont.com/de/alice-in-wonderland.font (had to use an alice in wonderland character and quote in this font)
11. Random trope: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LovecraftLite (I used the visible imager of a LovecraftLite trope as the background of the texture)
12. Random remake: post 94 (lol a progression post, only good icons <3) icon  (I used the dominant colors of this icon (green and white) to create another stock icon
13. Random song title: So Cold The Night (used the song title to inspire me and used as a text)
14. Random inspiration icon: by oldtoadwoman (used the snow effect to inspire my icon)
15. Random palette: https://www.colourlovers.com/palette/140863/Spinal_Tap (I combined the colors to create the texture for the icon)

I really love what you did with the inspirations! Especially the praise and the album cover are so cool. Thanks also for adding comments on how the prompts worked for you! I enjoyed reading them.

I love the crop in #1, I like how subtle the snow effect in #14 turned out, #15 is really creative, and I love how you used the tutorial, too. My faves are #4 and #17.

That praise was given such a tricky time (I can't help but want to make the screen cap far more vibrant but the praise went in the opposite direction). Album cover, I went for the composition and thought it fit for this icon! 1 - I wanted to keep the whole unusual composition because that's what I did with the previous icon but not used the same screen cap (although, I was really tempted to, lol!) I saw the tutorial for 14 and went immediately to making snow for the gif icon because it was just so fit and 15 I wanted a texture with those colors from the palette. 4 was just a fun screen cap to play with and 17 had a great composition that made sense to me :D Thanks for your comment!

Thank you so much, I went with the literal interpretation for sides and then created them like that 2 & 4 are my favorites too :D

The tutorial for 4 had snow and I just had to do that even though I don't think my icon is exact but I think it fits with the theme! I redid 11 because I didn't like the coloring lol! I wanted to try to follow the tutorial but I wanted to do it my way because it's all about interpretation and 20 - I just thought a geometric texture would fit for the book cover interpretation!
